Modeled current weather and forecasts
Weather comes from Open-Meteo, which combines numerical weather models from national meteorological services. “Current” conditions are model-based estimates, not a reading from a station at your exact location. Hourly and daily forecasts can change as models update; uncertainty generally increases further ahead.
Times are shown in the selected location’s timezone. Units are converted for display. Missing values remain missing; stale cached data is labeled rather than presented as fresh.
Air quality and pollen
Air quality is modeled data from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS), delivered through Open-Meteo’s air-quality API. It is not a nearby sensor reading. Regional coverage, update times and pollen availability vary. Air quality indices use different scales; the displayed scale matters.
Official alerts and radar
Where supported in the United States, official alerts come from the National Weather Service. An unavailable alert feed does not mean there are no hazards. Outside this coverage, check your national weather authority.
US radar uses public-domain products distributed by the Iowa Environmental Mesonet. This is a low-traffic prototype, not a global radar service. Radar can be delayed, have gaps, or miss precipitation at ground level; imagery is not a future forecast.
Moon, daily briefs and activity suggestions
Moon phase and illumination are astronomical calculations, not observations. Briefs and activity suggestions use deterministic rules applied to available forecast values. They are not generated by an LLM, personalized medical advice, or a safety assessment. No activity score guarantees safe conditions.
Outdoor windows require fresh forecasts, current official alert information and a fresh modeled air-quality index. Alongside temperature, wind, rain, UV and daylight filters, suggestions are suppressed when US AQI exceeds 100 or European AQI exceeds 60, or when available indices are invalid. Current air quality does not predict air quality throughout a future activity window.

Our curated collection spans 200 cities in 80 countries across six continents. Place names, identifiers and coordinates derive from GeoNames, licensed under CC BY 4.0, with additional location search through Open-Meteo. Weather data attribution and retrieval times are shown alongside the forecast where available.
